What a lovely Sunday

Last week was my first doctors appointment.
I was 13 weeks and 5 days along, putting my due date at April 20th. So we went in and did the usual: the nurse took my blood pressure, weighed me, and tried to do a blood test.
I say tried because she wasn't able to complete it.
The nurse started and after about 30 seconds, I felt light headed. I told her she had to stop, so she quickly took the needle out, and bandaged up my arm. I felt sick, I started to throw up and my vision went blurry. They moved me to the big chair and before I knew it I was laying down with the nurse and my husband standing overhead..
Needless to say, I had passed out.
I sat up, calmed down, got a drink of water, got some color back in my face, and the doctor finally came in. We talked for a little bit and he asked me if I would like to get another blood test to test for down syndrome and other things like that. I told him I wasn't sure because I didn't know if it would really make a difference to know or not. Then he said he also recommended a flu shot..
I didn't think it would matter for him to talk about it, but before I knew it I was sick again and had to throw up. I went through the same process as before with the only difference of not passing out. I threw up, lost color, and broke out in a cold sweat.
What was wrong with me!?
I've never really had this kind of problem, but apparently Wednesday was different.
I can now say that I am nervous for my next appointment and don't know if it's worth it to go back!
....Of course I will, but I'll have to go with an empty stomach and a a busy mind. (If I don't think about it I won't pass out right?)
At this point, I was 13 weeks and 2 days pregnant!
Not a very good quality photo, but I couldn't upload the ones from my camera :b
