The Blogger In Me

It has been SOOO LONG since I've been able to blog. I've missed it!
SO it is time to write another post.
A lot has happened.
Let me put this all into categories.

Moving:School:Work:Pregnancy:Family:The Rest of Life

Moving:
We are in the final stage of moving. We moved out of the house in Paul on October 31st and we've been living with my sister and her husband in their new house.
They have been the greatest hosts and we are so so grateful for them letting us stay in their house for so long!
Tomorrow we will be moving into our new apartment.
Hopefully I'll get enough time to get it all together and make it nice and homey :)
I'll get pictures as soon as I can take them!

School:
Oh dear, where do I start?
I am doing poorly in school. My grades are suffering and I feel like I don't ever have enough time to get everything done!
School really doesn't have that much time left, so I need to pick it up and do the best that I can for the last couple weeks...
Bleh...

Work:
This would normally be a bad subject....
But I have officially put in my 2 weeks notice and my last day will be the 21st or the 22nd!
Thank goodness.
Work has been driving me crazy and I'm counting down my last days.
About 5 if you were wondering :)

Pregnancy:
Pregnancy is going good.
I've been a little worried because I've only gained a pound (as of today, before today I had stayed the same weight) and I felt like being 17 weeks (in two days) I should have gained more by now! It worried me, but I figured out I should be doing pretty good.
We still don't know the gender of our baby and still don't have an appointment for an ultrasound. Apparently I have to wait for the radiation techs (or something like that) to call from the hospital and set up an appointment with me.
How annoying.
They're taking FOREVER to call!
My next appointment is on the 28th of November.
This is just a checkup.
Nothing new will be learned.
I guess pregnancy from here on out is just a waiting game.
I get morning sickness a lot less often and I am so grateful for that. I don't know about you, but I like waking up in the morning without having to throw up.
It's much more pleasant :)
I feel like I'm getting fat, but I'm pretty excited to see my belly growing. Can't wait until I get to feel it moving inside of me!

Family:
Family is doing great as always!
Jen, Jon, and Ray are happily moved into their house and getting everything settled in to call it home.
Matt just got done with harvest and is now living back in Twin, although he has come to visit. I personally think he needs to just move to Rupert, then again, what's really in Rupert other than family?
My mom and dad are doing good as well. Not much changes with them, just work work work! My dad is having an awesome time with his hawk and teaching her lots of new things. My mom has been busy as ever helping my friend out doing wedding dress modifications.
As for my family in Oregon, I've heard that they are happy and doing well.
I'm sad we won't be able to see any of them for the holidays, but we really just can't afford to put that much money into going to Oregon right now.

The Rest of Life:
As for everything else, I'm so excited for Brittaney Fanning and the fact that she's getting married Friday! I'm so excited for her. I'm going to be one of the bridesmaids as well as the photographer for the pictures I'm not supposed to be in.

I heard on the news today that Derek Walker was killed in Texas while on a mission.
I used to ride the bus with Derek when we were in Elementary school.
Watching the news video and seeing the pictures and everything really made me sad. It put into perspective today how easy it is to lose someone that we know and how that person could even be us.
We never know when we're going to die, but we need to live every day to the max and make sure that we never have any regrets.
I often get caught up in my life thinking that I'm going to have years and years to come, never knowing if I get in the car that I won't make it to where I'm going.
My heart and prayers go out to the families of Derek Walker and the two other missionaries, Elder Trevor Strong, who died at the hospital, and Elder Zachary Harris who was fortunate enough to live through the terrible accident.
