A Little Pregnancy Humor To Brighten Up My Day

So its been a month since I've last posted..
I find it hard to keep my blog updated when I know that no one really reads it anyway.
But I'm bored.
I cleaned, I've worked on the laundry, I did a little bit of homework, I played on facebook, I worked on baby shower invitations, and I even got around to working on packing some of my hospital baby bag.
Needless to say, I've run out of things to do.
Now I have to admit that the weather is SO beautiful today and I really should go for a walk again, but I really don't like walking alone :(
If my husband actually worked in the day time like a normal person then I'd be able to drag him out there with me.
Since this is not the case...
I think I'm going to find random funny pregnancy pictures on the Internet so that I can post them to my blog and make comments.
This should take up a fairly decent chunk of my day.
At least I can only hope :)

Well here it goes:

This has happened... :) Baby will definitely fit into our family with what she likes.

I've had this moment so much more often then I'd like to admit!

Okay so I think this is really funny...
Granted, there is an explanation and this woman stayed faithful to her husband, but some things are just pretty funny when you don't know all the facts.
This is what the caption underneath the picture said:

Not so much of a pregnancy fail anymore.. But still funny :)

Okay so I understand that I'm WAY past Valentines Day with these ones, but I couldnt help myself, they made me laugh :)

How ridiculously romantic :)

I'm Pretty sure this is how I feel most days, for most activities..

Lol.. I dont make grunting noises, but I do have a hard time getting up... From anything.

Just another one that made me laugh :)
Yes, our baby would actually be gift enough for me...
But it would also me nice if our baby had a father to raise it :)

So... Some of you (if this is even being read) won't think that these are all that funny, but being pregnant, I'd like to speak a little on the behalf of other pregnant women and say that we have all felt these things at one point or another and that in itself is what makes it funny. They're the things in pregnancy that no matter how much you try to deny them, like having a hard time getting off the couch, you still do.

What A Way To Spend My Day

Today I was very bored.
I woke up, ate some cereal for breakfast, then lounged around watching TV.
I then chose to clean the house.
Believe me when I say it needed it.
I felt like I got quite a bit accomplished, but there's still so much organizing that needs to be done that I got discouraged and stopped.
So I came to my computer to find something to do.

Nothing good on Facebook.
No homework to work on.
Nothing good to blog.
Craigslist had been checked.
Pinterest wasn't holding my interest.

I couldn't find anything.
....SO....
I decided to find a whole bunch of meaningless quizzes to take.

Here's a little about me according to quizopolis.com:

Fun fact: After reading about a peanut butter and jelly sandwich, I went into the kitchen and made myself a peanut butter and sugar sandwich :)

Fun fact: If this was true, I'd pretty much be awesome.

Fun fact: It's not an ego booster having a computer quiz tell you that you're bland and unoriginal.
Oh... And that people that like you have bad taste.

Fun fact: Apparently I taste great in butter and garlic.

Fun fact: I think wearing a huge ballgown like Cinderella's would be pretty great.

Fun fact: First the computer told me I was bland and unoriginal, then it told me I was the Evil Queen.

Fun fact: My temper is just fine.

Fun fact: I learned that I'm borderline dangerous, which means I'm daring enough to drive a minivan.

Fun fact: Not only did quizopolis.com decide to insult me by calling me bland, unoriginal, and an Evil Queen, but it decided to throw more insult on and say that I am boring, unhealthy, and a good last-minute choice.
Oh, did I forget to mention cheap?

Funnest fact: I have decided that online quizzes are NOT the way to go when you're having a lazy and boring day.

I'm not sure what to fill my time with, but tomorrow is another day and I guess I can try again and see what else the world wide web has to offer.

The One That Got Me to Say Yes.

I just realized that I haven't even posted for the New Year yet!
Not like it matters too much, but i'ts been a while so I want to write about something.
I think I'm going to dedicate this post to my amazing husband, Scotty Van Lear.
Some days I ask myself how I was lucky enough to find him.
For example:
Two days ago I was able to wake up to a bouquet of flowers accompanied by breakfast.
This happened all for one reason..
Simply because my husband loves me.

We have been married about 10 and a half months and I could not have asked for a better way to spend those 10 and a half months :)

There are so many memories that we've made and I can't imagine the many more that we'll make as we go throughout our lifetime together.
He shows me that I matter.
He shows me that he cares.
He loves me.

I love my husband.

Another New Project-Before and After

Well I've found myself a new little project.
As I was going through our spare room yesterday I found some old frames that my mom gave me a couple years ago.
I didn't really like them so they were always packed away in a box..
I found them in a box yesterday and saw the potential that they actually have.
Last night I got my brand new paints from Christmas out and started working away at them.

This is a before picture....

And this is the afters....

I was pretty proud of these and I'm excited for what I can do with them. I think I might want to add a little more to the sides, but we'll see!
I think they'll be the perfect thing for Hailey's room :)

A New Little Hobby

I have now found a new little hobby...
Making headbands :)
I am so excited for how easy these are to make!!
Here's what I have so far:

This first one is just the flowers and headbands that I have, but I'll have to decided to put what where.

This one shows some of the options...

And this one shows a few more options :)

I could try and make them all interchangeable, but I honestly dont think I'm gonna use the headbands enough for it to matter.
I might try a few and then if I like it enough I'll stick with the idea!
So excited for this new little craft and I cant wait until I can learn to do more.

Another Blog Post? Why Yes, I Think I Will.

It's one in the morning and I'm sitting on the couch alone.
It's times like this that I miss my husband and regret telling him I'd be okay with him working night shifts.
I have to admit that I really don't mind it, but that doesn't mean I like it either.
The hardest is when I have to go to bed.
Some nights (like tonight) I try to put it off by staying on the computer really late or watching some kind of movie to distract myself.
Tonight I chose to make a song.
(I wanted to try singing for my little girl)
I've never been able to make a full song, only verses, so I have to say that I'm rather proud of myself.
I have made a full and complete song.
I decided to record it on garage band and I found some pretty awesome features.
I wish I knew how to work it a little better because I could get SO much more out of this than I already have!

School is still ridiculous.

The past couple days I've also been trying to get better at my crocheting skills....
They haven't improved much.
Right now I'm stuck doing the same thing back and forth.
SO..
I decided to make a little crochet blanket because that seems to be the only thing I can make!
I'd love to be able to make a dress, little baby booties, hats, little flower headbands, and so on, but I think thats in the very very distant future.

(I'd love to do things like these ^ )
(((Visit my Pinterest account for other cute ideas like this: http://pinterest.com/svanlear/things-to-make-for-my-little-girl/ )))

In a week or so I'll have a lot more time on my hands to work on all of these project that I've been wanting to try.
I can't wait!

Well I think that's it for me, I really don't have much else to talk about so I guess I better go.
I can openly admit this is not one of my better posts and I'd assume it's rather boring, but I enjoyed spilling out my words and killing some time before bed!

Goodnight!! :)

(Check out my last post to see one of the ultrasound pictures of our baby girl.)
